The island of Ischia is well connected by hydrofoils and ferries with the most important ports of our region, thus becoming a possible base from which to explore its famous tourist destinations with convenient day trips. All year round there are connections with Naples and Pozzuoli (shipping companies www.alilauro.it, www.caremar.it www.medmargroup.it), only in high season with Capri, Positano, Amalfi, Salerno, Sorrento, Ventotene, Ponza.

Naples Capodichino airport is connected with direct flights to an increasing number of European and non-European cities. From there you can easily get to the harbour for hydrofoils or ferries (last departure at 9.55 pm) to Ischia by taxi or Alibus. On request it is possible to reach our island by helicopter.
All major Italian railway companies have trains that stop at the Central Station of Naples, from where you can easily get to the harbour for hydrofoils or ferries (last departure at 9.55pm) to Ischia by taxi, Alibus or underground.
The Naples ring road connects the highway network to the ports of Naples and Pozzuoli, from where ferries to Ischia leave, if you choose to board your car. In order to reach Naples harbour take the exit “Napoli Centro Porto” and do not continue on the ring road, then the exit “Napoli Porto Traghetti”, which will lead directly to the port area and Calata Porta di Massa wharf (ferry boarding). Alternatively in order to reach to Pozzuoli, take the ring road until exit number 12 (Via Campana) and follow the directions to the port of Pozzuoli. The companies that operate the ferry service (last departure 21.55) are Medmar (www.medmargroup.it) and Caremar (www.caremar.it). We recommend booking tickets online to avoid queues at the ticket office or not finding place. In high season boarding is not allowed for cars registered to residents of Campania. When you disembark at Ischia (or at Casamicciola, another port 6.5 km from our hotel), take the SP270 towards Barano, after the second tunnel turn left onto Via Michele Mazzella following the sign “centro” and follow it until Piazza (square) degli Eroi. From there continue straight to the sea and turn right into Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo and again right into the first side street on the right (Via E. Gianturco): the entrance of the Excelsior parking is 50 meters after the corner on the left.
